The staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan congratulates veterans of the industry and those who have contributed to the development of agriculture in the republic on the International Day of Elderly.
Thanks to your work and that solid foundation laid in the basis of agriculture, today the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan is one of the leading in the country and is among the top 5 leaders in terms of gross agricultural production. Occupying 2.4% of the country's agricultural land, the republic produces 4.2% of its gross output, ranks first in Russia in milk production, producing 6% of the total volume of Russian milk. The republic's agriculture fully meets the needs of the population for basic food products. This year, a jubilee for Tatarstan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic, has been harvested a record for the last 12 years, a grain harvest of 5.5 million tons!
