The harvesting of sugar beets, potatoes and sunflowers continues in Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan, 5.315 million tons of grain were threshed, the average yield this year is 35.3 c / ha, which is 5.4 c / ha higher than in 2019. Such data was given today at the republican meeting in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts.

Speaking about the upcoming harvesting work, the head of the Ministry said: 45 thousand hectares of corn for grain, 25 thousand hectares of rapeseed, 75 thousand hectares of corn for silage, 2.4 thousand hectares of potatoes, 1.4 thousand ha of vegetables are to be removed from the fields.

The harvesting of sugar beets continues in the region. So, 15 thousand hectares (or a third) are already harvested. 620 thousand tons have been accumulated, the average yield is 413.4 c / ha today. The leaders in the yield of beets are Zainsky, Menzelinsky, Sarmanovsky, Tetyushsky districts.

The factories process 13.8 thousand tons of sugar beet per day, 386 thousand tons have already been delivered to the factories. At the same time, 40 thousand tons of granulated sugar were produced (this is 8 thousand tons more than in the same period of 2019).

As for potatoes, 50 thousand tons of this vegetable crop have been dug up in the republic. 1.8 thousand hectares (or 45%) were harvested, yield is 288 c / ha.

Harvest areas of sunflower in the republic - 118 thousand hectares (yield 17 c / ha).

Speaking about the situation with winter crops, Marat Zyabbarov said: 545 thousand hectares of winter crops were sown, including winter wheat - 420 thousand hectares, winter rye - 119 thousand hectares.
