Tatarstan produced 339 billion rubles worth of agricultural products in the first 10 months of 2025, with a production index of 107.1% compared to last year. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov presented these figures at a meeting held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. He reported on the development of the industry and the expected results for the year.

Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Tatarstan, held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts of the republic. Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin also participated in the meeting.

The republic's annual production target of 101.8% is planned to be 107%, with comparable growth forecasted at the end of the year. In value terms, agricultural output will exceed 400 billion rubles (compared to 350.4 billion rubles in 2024).

Overall, including the food and processing industries, total output is estimated at 775 billion rubles (698 billion rubles in 2024).

Significant growth is primarily due to crop production. For the first time, the 1 million ton mark for oilseeds was exceeded. The gross fruit and berry harvest amounted to 134,000 tons, doubling compared to last year.

In recent years, a project to establish intensive orchards has been implemented. 1,700 hectares have already been planted, with another 60 hectares planned for next year.

Livestock production is projected to grow by 1.5%, with output exceeding 210 billion rubles. The dairy industry made a significant contribution. Gross milk yield is expected to reach 2,358,000 tons, an increase of 70,000 tons compared to last year.

Meat production is expected to reach 520,000 tons, up 2%, and egg production is up 3%.

Revenue for the year is projected to be approximately 256 billion rubles, with a 12% increase compared to last year. Increased production and sales volumes largely accounted for the increase in cash revenue.

With government support, production profitability is expected to be 10.5%; without it, just over 6%.

The share of profitable agricultural enterprises has stabilized at 90%, indicating significant cost rationalization.

Over the past five years, more than 193 billion rubles have been invested in the republic's agro-industrial complex, including approximately 46 billion rubles expected this year, which is reflected in production costs.

In the current environment, greater attention must be paid to cost efficiency, said Marat Zyabbarov.

Improving efficiency is impossible without motivating workers. Based on the results of the first 10 months of 2025, wages in agricultural enterprises averaged 70,000 rubles per month, there is a 23% increase compared to the previous year.

Over the past five years, rural wages have shown good growth; they have more than doubled during this period, but the current rate is still insufficient, the minister noted.

In conclusion, Marat Zyabbarov emphasized that this year's figures are largely the result of significant support provided to the agricultural sector through various republican and federal programs. This year, state support will amount to 16.7 billion rubles.

Thanks to budget support, the effectiveness of ruble investments in production is increasing, said Marat Zyabbarov, and on behalf of all rural residents, he thanked the Rais of Tatarstan for his continued attention to the development of the industry and rural areas in general.
