Tatarstan is confidently leading in milk production

According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of August 3, 2020, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 49.8 thousand tons, which is 5% (2.4 thousand tons) more than the same indicator in 2019.

The maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory; Voronezh, Kirov, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod regions; The Udmurt Republic and Bashkortostan, as well as the Altai Territory.

Today, according to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the gross milk yield in the republic per day is 3993.7 tons, which is 101.7 tons more than last year (102.6%). Milk yield per cow per day is 18 kg, which is 1.4 kg more than the previous year. Only 4516.3 tons of milk were sold per day, which is 115.9 tons more and makes 103% compared to 2019.

The leaders among the districts of Tatarstan in terms of milk yield per cow per day are Atninsky (31.2 kg), Mamadyshsky (27.6 kg), Kukmorsky (24.5 kg), Sabinsky (24.3 kg) and Baltasinsky (23 kg) areas.

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that milk production is growing in Tatarstan.
