The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with graduates of the Institute of Economics of the Kazan Agrarian University on career guidance in the agricultural sector

Today, a meeting with graduates of the Institute of Economics of the Kazan Agrarian University, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the open air, was held at KazSAU on the issues of retaining young specialists in the agricultural sector.

Guzel Kadyrova, head of the personnel department of the ministry, congratulated on entering the adult life of yesterday’s students on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. She noted that highly skilled personnel is always needed in the agricultural sector and noted that for young professionals who come to work in the village they provide “lifting” in the amount of 300 thousand rubles and a monthly supplement for the first year of work in the amount of 7,500 rubles to the main salary. In addition, there are programs to provide housing for young professionals. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan is always ready to advise on all existing support measures and help in the preparation of the necessary documents.

Director of the Institute of Economics of the Kazan State Agrarian University Marat Nizamutdinov conveyed parting words to the graduates. He noted that this issue was completely special for everyone. The presentation of the final qualification works remotely was organized for the first time, however, the students passed the test with dignity and showed good knowledge. “But this is not a reason to relax. In order to be a sought-after specialist, you need to study all your life”, he said and told about the magistracy.

On the same day, students received diplomas. The presentation was also organized in the open air in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological precautions.

At the end of the event, the rector of the Kazan Agrarian University, Airat Valiev, noted that today a completely new, completely independent stage of life begins for graduates. He wished the young specialists to find a good job and become highly qualified specialists. “Persistence and focused work in the chosen direction will help in this,” said Ayrat Valiev.

Many of the students already work at agricultural enterprises or continue family business in the countryside. So, a graduate of the Faculty of Management Samat Nurgaliyev has been keeping records on grain production in the Nur agricultural firm of the Tetyush region since 2017 and will be happy to go to his native district. Kamil Davletov from the Menzelinsky region has been working since 11 years. Having received the necessary knowledge at the Faculty of Economics, he began accounting in the peasant (farm) economy of his father, where on 770 hectares the family grows potatoes, beets, carrots, cabbage and onions.
