Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov met with reporters and talked online about the formation of the crop, the preparation of feed and the support of farmers.
“In the republic, the sowing this year was held within favorable weather conditions. Organization and quality of work were up to standard. Everywhere there are quality shoots of spring crops. The area of spring sowing amounted to 1.8 million hectares, and in general, the sown area is over 2.8 million hectares. According to the structure of crops, the area of sugar beets decreased by 14 thousand hectares (24%). These areas are sown with grain crops, ”said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
More than 11 thousand tractors, 650 high-performance wide-spreading sowing complexes with energy-saturated tractors, more than 6 thousand seeders and cultivators were involved in the sowing.
“At present, crop production activities are being conducted on the fields. To increase the effectiveness of protective measures, we set ourselves the task to equip stationary mortar units in farms with arable land over 500 hectares. The feedback from the technologists who have already installed them is very positive”, said Marat Zyabbarov
These nodes will allow farms to significantly increase the effectiveness of plant protection products. And today, half of the republic's farms have solved this problem. Atninsky district has such nodes in all farms. There is also a high level of supply at the farms of Menzelinsky (100%), Kukmorsky (88), Aksubaevsky (80), Baltasinsky (80), Kaybitsky (75) and Sabinsky (73) districts. At the same time, the farms of Almetyevsk, Bugulminsky, Zelenodolsky and Mendeleev districts have ignored the recommendations.
The Vice Prime Minister noted that with the protection of crops, fodder is being harvested. Livestock productivity will depend on its organization and observance of mowing terms. Without a solid fodder base, the livestock industry will not be able to realize the tasks to increase the production of livestock products.
This year it is necessary to harvest coarse and succulent fodder from an area of about 500 thousand ha of perennial grasses.
Mamadyshsky, Leninogorsky, Tetyushsky, Arsky, Zelenodolsky, Zainsky and Atninsky districts complete the first mowing of perennial grasses.
Green grass, harvested at the optimum time, is close to grain feed in terms of energy content in dry matter. Therefore, timely preparation of feed is so important. Agricultural organizations using such feeds can significantly save their money on the purchase of expensive concentrated feeds, while ensuring high-level animal productivity.
Speaking about supporting small business forms and increasing business activity in the village, Marat Zyabbarov said that in the regions there is less heavy manual work and more opportunities to open a business. For a number of programs: “Agrostartup”, “Development of family livestock farms based on peasant farms”, “Development of agricultural consumer cooperation” - the results of the competitions have been summed up. Funds are being transferred to grant recipients for the implementation of their projects.
Within the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On state support for the development of personal subsidiary plots on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan”, support is provided for citizens who are conducting private plots in 5 directions in the amount of 477.5 million rubles.
In addition, rural residents were provided with free seeds, and in order to prevent a sharp increase in bread prices, the bakery subsidy was increased.
The program “Rural Mortgages” has shown great popularity. In the Republic of Tatarstan at the moment more than 5 thousand applications from citizens have been received, for the total amount of loans of about 12.6 billion rubles, of which 503 loans in the amount of 1.09 billion rubles were issued as early as June 1. (or 106 million rubles subsidies). The Russian government plans to allocate additional funds for this program this year.
