Despite the difficult economic situation at the request of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Zyabbarov, it was decided to allocate additional funds from the federal budget for preferential lending to agricultural producers of the republic.
The limit of subsidies for preferential short-term lending for 2020 after the increase is 725.7 million rubles.
Recall that in Tatarstan farmers who do not have enough own capital can receive borrowed funds at a reduced rate, which ranges from 1 to 5%.
Soft loans are issued to borrowers for the development of crop production and livestock, dairy cattle breeding, processing of agricultural products. This mechanism can be used by agricultural producers, organizations or individual entrepreneurs engaged in production, primary or subsequent processing of agricultural products and their implementation.
The maximum amount of preferential short-term loan provided to one borrower is not more than 600 million rubles.
As of May 7, 2020, authorized banks filed 211 applications for a total loan amount of 15.9 billion rubles. (554.7 million rubles in subsidies). The current balance of subsidies is 170.9 million rubles, which will allow attracting preferential short-term loans of approximately 4.8 billion rubles. All applications were reviewed by credit committees of banks. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan formed a register for them and sent it for consideration to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
