Tatarstan agricultural enterprises continue to operate, ensuring the food security of the republic. One of them is the agricultural supply and marketing (trade) consumer cooperative “Kausar” in the Laishevsky district. In 2018, the company received a 30 million rubles grant from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan for the purchase of equipment for processing poultry meat. The production works according to Halal standards. More than 40 jobs were created on the site.
The agricultural complex of the cooperative includes a meat processing site, a slaughterhouse, a logistics center and warehouses for storing products. The range of products includes sausages, pastes, smoked and dried products from duck meat, etc.
“Even before the advent of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, the enterprise took measures to protect personnel and manufactured products. The working day at the enterprise begins earlier than usual. The staff does not start work until they pass water procedures. When cutting carcasses of chilled duck, the fact of contamination and pathogenic flora is excluded, "says Marat Galiullin, head of the production and processing department of the Kausar agricultural complex.
Employees of the Kausar agricultural production complex are dressed in protective overalls, they use glasses, masks, gloves and antiseptics. They work withstand a distance of 2 meters. People over 60 years old are exempted from work with the preservation of wages. The procedure of quartzing is carried out every 2 hours.
"The jar of dried products is daily treated with detergents and disinfectants. The air that gets here is filtered. Mineral bacteria are put in the minced meat. They do not allow pathogenic bacteria to multiply," says Andrei Gerasimov, a technologist at Kausar.
According to the chairman of the Kausar agro-industrial complex Farid Khairutdinov, the enterprise is negotiating with France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and neighboring countries. Duckling is delivered throughout Russia. There is demand for it, despite the virus.
