The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Agrarian Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan traditionally hold a competition of socially significant projects for rural youth aged 18 to 35.
The competition is held in 6 nominations:
- development of civil literacy of rural youth;
- preservation of the identity of rural areas;
- career guidance and self-determination;
- development of entrepreneurship in the countryside;
- development of the family social institutions;
- the development of creative technologies in rural areas.
The winners of the competition will be provided with organizational, informational and financial support from 50 to 200 thousand rubles.
The competition was created in order to support and implement the most effective socially significant projects and programs for rural youth.
Last year, the contest participants successfully implemented their projects. Thus, the AGRO Generation project in the Bavlinsky district is held in the format of a vocational guidance school for rural working youth, whose goal is to increase the prestige of agricultural professions. The “Village Initiative Assistance” project of Mendeleev District provided 10 young families with equipment to launch poultry breeding cooperatives. And the project “Tourism and the basics of search and rescue operations” of the Bugulma district helps young people to learn the basics of popularizing rural agritourism as an option for farmers to engage in entrepreneurial activity.
To organize intensive and high-quality implementation of future projects, the educational program on April 17, an introductory webinar will be held on the ZOOM platform, where the main trends in social design will be considered.
The next stage will be the competition itself, which will be held online on the Instagram platform. This year, the conditions are simplified: participants only need to tell about their idea in a 40-second video. Each video will receive points on the number of comments, expert ratings and attendance at webinars.
Top 20 projects will receive advices from experts at the federal and republican levels, and will become applicants for a grant.
Representatives of rural youth aged 18 to 35, chairmen of regional departments of the AMO RT, representatives of local self-government of rural territories, heads of rural culture houses, etc. can become participants.
