Kazan plant of irrigation equipment began working in intensive mode

6 April 2020, Monday

In Tatarstan, at the Kazan irrigation equipment factory, the Kazan-based wide-angle circular sprinkler was developed and manufactured. The machine was created based on international best practices in the production of irrigation systems, and is not inferior in quality and characteristics to foreign analogues.

The standard length of the machine with seven sectional designs is 444 meters, while the irrigation area is 64 hectares. The installation can water all types of crops and has special nozzles that form fine rain, which ensures optimal watering. There is the possibility of reverse movement - the machine can move both clockwise and in the opposite direction, regulate and alternate watering, taking into account the placement of different crops on the site.

A serious advantage is the possibility of towed movement from one hydrant to another. The machine operates at low water pressures on the hydrant up to 3.5 atmospheres, which ensures a reduction in pressure on the pipeline and energy savings of up to 30-45%. The irrigation installation is delivered in turnkey configuration - it only needs to be connected to the main pipeline.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the plant was produced and assembled by more than 100 sprinklers that successfully operate in the fields of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia. The plant’s capacities make it possible to produce more than 200 machines a year with single-shift operation of the plant and more than 300 machines with double-shift operation. Orders from farmers come regularly and from this week the plant began to work in an intensive mode in compliance with all protective measures in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
