26 February 2020, Wednesday

Today in the Apastovsky District, a meeting of the District Council was held on the results of socio-economic development for 2019 and the tasks for 2020 with the participation of the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin. The event was also attended by Rishat Khabipov - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

“The gross territorial product is estimated at 7.3 billion rubles. The district has modest indicators for the shipment of goods of own production and investment in fixed assets. In the District Development Strategy until 2030, the vast majority of investment projects is related to the processing of agricultural products. This means that the priority is still the support of small and medium-sized businesses, the development and diversification of agriculture, the activation of small forms of farming in the countryside, ”said Alexey Pesoshin.

According to the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the WTP, Apastovsky District takes 27th place. The district administration needs to strengthen its work to promote entrepreneurship. He recalled that in the republic there are 12 types of state support for small and medium businesses, but in 2019 only 3 local residents took advantage of them.

Agriculture takes an important place in the economy of the region. According to the results of last year, the gross output of the agricultural complex in monetary terms amounted to about 2 billion rubles or 107%. At the same time, there has been a decrease in the number of cattle in agricultural enterprises - by 2.7 thousand heads in 2019. “The gross milk production per day in the district is 59 tons, the milk yield per 1 cow is only 12.6 kg. An increase in milk production requires the development of a modern livestock infrastructure, ”said Alexey Pesoshin.

He recalled that a large-scale modernization of the Apastovsky Dairy Plant is planned. Investors from Udmurtia come with declared investments of about 700 million rubles, it is planned to create about 70 jobs. The planned processing capacity is up to 500 tons of milk per day. Alexey Pesoshin called on the district leadership to provide the investor with comprehensive support in the implementation of the project.

The district has good indicators in crop production. Last year, about 81.8 thousand tons of grain were threshed. However, for the current year’s crop there is still not enough mineral fertilizers. To date, 7.9 kg of active substance per hectare has been accumulated, while on average almost 30 kg have been accumulated in the republic.

“Wages are the main motivating factor for increasing labor productivity. At the end of the year, the average salary of agricultural workers in the district amounted to only 17.8 thousand rubles. The district administration, agricultural managers need to determine the increase in the level of remuneration of workers of the industry as one of the priority tasks. And the most important thing is to ensure timely payment for the labor of rural workers, ”concluded the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.
