The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan announces a contest among research and development in agribusiness
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs about the beginning of accepting applications for the provision of grants for state support of scientific research and development in the agriculture.
The maximum grant size can be up to 10 million rubles.
The selection criterion is the relevance of projects for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, aimed at the development and implementation of:
- technologies for the breeding and propagation of new plant varieties and animal breeds in order to increase productivity;
- new methods and materials (preparations, fertilizers, devices) and technologies for the intensification of agricultural production;
- technologies for the deep processing of agricultural raw materials;
-mechanisms of energy and resource conservation;
- management systems and organizational measures to increase the economic efficiency of agribusiness;
The Commission will also evaluate the originality of the project, its innovative nature, the prospects for its continuation after the end of financing under the grant on the basis of its own resources, the relevance of the final result, the appropriateness of its practical application and the significance of the project for the development of agriculture in Tatarstan. The project should be economically feasible and effective (cost-benefit ratio), be able to attract additional funds.
The feasibility of the project will be checked, including the availability of personnel potential and sufficient material and technical support for the implementation of this project and the efficiency of the use of allocated funds.
Projects applying for a grant must be presented in form of a multimedia presentation in PowerPoint format in front of the tender committee.
Applications for participation in the competitive selection are accepted from January 29 to March 2, 2020. The date of the commission meeting is March 6, 2020.

Competitive selection is carried out in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated January 26, 2018 No. 42 “On measures of state support for the agro-industrial complex at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
