Tatarstan farmers have to accumulate at least 70 kg of mineral fertilizers per hectare

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan recommends that agricultural producers of Tatarstan apply at least 70 kg of the active substance of mineral fertilizers per hectare for the 2020 crop.

As the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov noted, this year the sown area in the republic is about 2.8 million hectares. As of January 1, 2020, more than 46.1 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were purchased.

“This is 16.5 kg of active substance per hectare of crops, or 23.5% of the forecast. As of January 1 of last year, 15.2 kg of mineral fertilizers were accumulated (d.v. / ha), this year is 1.3 kg more than last one, ”the deputy minister said.

At the beginning of this year, the largest amount of mineral fertilizers was accumulated in the Zainsky municipal district - 46.6 kg/ha (or 66.6% of the forecast). Other two leaders are Tetyushsky - 44 kg (62.8%) and Sarmanovsky - 40.1 kg (57.3%) districts.

“It is noteworthy that the rate of accumulation of mineral fertilizers in these and a number of other municipal areas is higher than last season,” said Ildus Gabdrakhmanov.

As of January 1 of this year, the Nizhnekamsk region fulfilled accumulation of mineral fertilizers by 48.4%, Sabinsky - by 46.6%, Kukmorsky - by 41.1%, Aznakaevsky - by 40.2% (with an average indicator for the republic 23.5%).

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, low rates of accumulation of mineral fertilizers are observed in Agryz, Kamsko-Ustyinsky, Laishevsky, Apastovsky, Novosheshminsky, Kaybitsky, Leninogorsk, Pestrechinsky, Yelabuga districts, where the forecast indicators are less than 10%.

As previously reported, in 2020, the government set a task - to increase crop production by 10%.
