Next year, Kazan will host the International Congress of Rural Youth, which will be a significant event. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Marat Zyabbarov.
Reporting on the personnel potential of the agro-industrial complex at a meeting in the House of the Government of Tatarstan, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan said that this forum will be held in the capital of the republic from February 6 to 9 next year. According to the Minister, Kazan will host 250 representatives of rural youth from 50 subjects of Russia and 25 countries of the world.
“This international platform will allow us to study and implement successful mechanisms for the development of rural areas,” said Marat Zyabbarov.
One of the main goals of the congress is to attract young people to actively participate in the implementation of projects for the development of rural territories. The forum participants will be able to improve their professional competencies and skills by specialized platforms “Youth entrepreneurship in the countryside: trends, approaches and secrets of success”, “Culture, preservation of identity and tourism: rural territories as drivers of cultural growth”, “Education and leadership: unique rural opportunities for the development of a successful personality. "
Marat Zyabbarov also reminded that young specialists have the opportunity to start their own business in the countryside, participating in competitions for grants and creating farms (grant size from 1.5 million to 5 million rubles). According to the minister, over the past three years 164 young specialists have won grants under the Beginner Farmer and Agrostartup programs.
