The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan was visited by the Turkish delegation
Today, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov met with the General Director of the Turkish company “Unsan” Mustafa Kazanji. Also, the meeting was attended by the General Director of JSC "RACIN" Denis Samodurov, General Director of JSC "Projects of Tatarstan" Airat Gayfutdinov and acting General Director of Export Corporation JSC Almaz Akhmetov.
Opening the meeting, Nail Zalakov presented the guests the agro-industrial potential of the Republic of Tatarstan and expressed readiness for a constructive dialogue.
Mustafa Kazanji talked about his company. “Today, production has a capacity of 350 tons per day or 100 thousand tons per year. The enterprise has its own elevators with storage volumes of up to 600 tons of bran, 2000 tons of flour and 9000 tons of wheat. Since 1996, the company began exporting its products (flour) to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iraq, as well as the Far East and Africa. Unsan annually imports about 200 thousand tons of wheat from Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. We are ready to purchase grain in Tatarstan, ”the director of the company said.
Earlier, the delegation got acquainted with the work of Tatarstan elevators.
The meeting participants discussed the possibilities of further cooperation. Work on export issues continued as part of a business meeting with the group of RACIN JSC. Further meetings with grain exporters of the Republic of Tatarstan are also planned.
