Marat Zyabbarov: The construction of plants for deep processing of agricultural products allows us to stabilize the pricing policy on the commodity market
Today, at the NEFIS-BIOPRODUKT enterprise, a visit session of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on ecology, nature management, agro-industrial and food policy was held with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic Marat Akhmetov.
Before the meeting, the deputies, accompanied by the chairman of the Board of Directors of the enterprise Dmitry Samarenkin, visited the sites of production of oil and fat products.
At a meeting of the Committee on organizing deep processing of agricultural products, increasing surplus value and increasing the export potential of the republic's agro-industrial complex, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov made a report.
According to the minister, oil and fat products reach about 60-70 percent of the republican export of food products and agricultural raw materials. The largest producer of these products in the republic is the NEFIS group of companies.
“By 2024, the task was to double export. This obliges us to increase volumes, quality and competitiveness. By export development tasks, the technology of deep processing of agricultural products can actually important for us. At the moment, for Russia it is a rather promising industry, especially for regions where due to extensive logistics, it is not possible to export surplus products. This also applies to Tatarstan, ”he stressed.
According to Marat Zyabbarov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov repeatedly drew attention to the construction of an enterprise for the deep processing of agricultural products. The Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan together with a number of republican ministries was tasked to attract investors for the construction of a plant for deep processing of grain in the republic.
The speaker noted that the construction of such plants is becoming relevant and allows to stabilize the pricing policy in the commodity market. The scope of products of deep processing is huge, it is not limited only by the food industry.
The discussion was also attended by deputies, representatives of ministries, as well as educational institutions of the republic.
