Sabinsky district is consistently among the five leading regions for the production of agricultural products in Tatarstan. A good contribution is made by one of the most successful cooperatives in the region - ACPC Kaymak.

The agricultural consumer processing cooperative Kaymak has been operating since February 2016. The impetus for development was a grant of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan under the program "Development of Agricultural Consumer Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan" in the amount of 8 million rubles. The funds were allocated for the purchase of equipment and the construction of a milk processing workshop, which was launched in April 2017.

To date, the cooperative unites 24 farms engaged in the production of milk. The cooperative employs 14 people - workers who know how to organize their activities according to modern requirements.

“We feel the enormous support of the state and the republican government. Such attention helps local agricultural producers become competitive. Our cooperative aims to increase the number of its members, in particular to work with private household plots. Private farms need help. Joining the cooperative will allow them to become more profitable: they will be able to sell milk at a few rubles more per liter than now. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reimburses members of cooperatives for up to 40% of the cost of purchased cows. A favorable environment has been created in Tatarstan for the business activity of the rural population, ”says Firdaus Mustafina, chairman of the Kaymak.

The company has a laboratory for determining the quality of milk. Every day, the cooperative processes up to 1.8 tons of fresh milk. Milk carriers collect it from farmers and bring it to the factory. The material base allows to collect and cool up to 10 tons of milk per day. Today, the cooperative sells 12 types of dairy products: milk of various fat content, kaimak, kefir, cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, soft Adyghe cheese, butter.

They use only local environmentally friendly raw materials. Each production phase at Kaymak is under strict control. Consistently high quality products - this is the motto of Kaymak. The cooperative’s products were highly appreciated by the consumer not only in their native region, but everywhere in Tatarstan. All products are sold in 40 outlets, 20 of which are located in Kazan. For example, in Kazan it can be purchased at the farm store "Mini Avylym".

In the very near future, its own cheese factory will start working, which will produce three types of hard cheeses: Dutch, Russian and smoked cheese. The workshop has already been built, equipment has been installed. The total cost of the project amounted to 19 million rubles, 5.1 million of which are own funds, 6.1 million - borrowed, 7.6 million - grants received under the program to improve the material and technical base of agricultural cooperatives of Tatarstan. When the shop starts operating at full capacity, they will process more than 6 tons of milk per day.

Such an effective work of the cooperative allows paying wages without delay, helping employees with the solution of social issues, timely settling with milk suppliers and paying taxes.

The creation and development of such enterprises as Kaymak is a vivid example of the revival of business activity in the agrarian regions of our republic. The successful work of small forms of management allows us to solve such important tasks as creating jobs in the countryside, attracting young people, bringing to life the previously empty production facilities, and increasing the revenue side of municipal budgets.
