December 9 is an International Anti-Corruption Day

Today, the Kazan Kremlin hosted an expanded meeting of the Commission for the Coordination of Work to Combat Corruption in the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov took part in the work.

Recall that on December 9, 2003, Russia signed the UN Convention against Corruption. Anti-corruption work in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan is based on the state program "Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015 - 2022", and decisions of the Commission for the Coordination of Work to Combat Corruption in the Republic of Tatarstan and departmental anti-corruption program.

To effectively combat corruption, the Ministry has introduced the principle of a single window for accepting applications for subsidies, as well as the activity on state support of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. Citizens can also report their complaints on corruption by phone (843) 221-76-21.

The curriculum of sectoral advanced training courses organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan includes mandatory issues of anti-corruption policy. The officials of the ministry responsible for the work on the prevention of corruption and other offenses are involved in teaching.

Also, ministry employees (including those responsible for the prevention of corruption and other offenses) are invited to teach (on anti-corruption topics) at the Higher School of State and Municipal Administration of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “K(P)FU”.
