In Tatarstan, thanks to the measures taken, a noticeable price increase of buckwheat did not occur this year. This was announced yesterday at a meeting of the RT State Council Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy, by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov.

The speaker mentioned that agricultural fairs are held annually for residents of Tatarstan. “We will hold them until the end of the year. It is farm products that are popular among the population, ”he said. - Recently, there was a talk that the price of buckwheat will increase significantly. But thanks to the measures taken, buckwheat is abundant in the republic. ”

Recall, by the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, in order to stabilize the situation with prices of cereals in Tatarstan, in 2019 a fixed price at agricultural fairs for buckwheat was established at a rate of 30 rubles per kilogram, and its supply was also provided to meet the increased needs of residents.

This year 15 agricultural fairs were organized in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsky district of Tatarstan. They have sold almost 1 billion rubles worth of products. According to the results of past fairs, there was no excessive demand for buckwheat. Groats are sold at a set price. At upcoming fairs, price increases are not planned. It is possible due to stocks available.

Agricultural fairs are traditionally appreciated by the townspeople, especially the older generation, in good demand and are of great social importance, therefore, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan decided to open a Hotline on issues related to fairs. By calling the HotLine (843) 221-76-23, 221-76-24, you can also specify the addresses of fairs, the range of products, leave your wishes and comments.
