30 countries have confirmed their participation in the International Congress of Rural Youth, which will be held next year in Tatarstan. This was announced on November 23 by chairman of the Agrarian Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan Dilyara Shuvalova, at the awarding of the winners of the contest "Best in Profession" among young agricultural workers at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan .
“This year, our organization won a grant for the International Congress of Rural Youth, which will be held on February 6 - 9, 2020. There is a bid campaign. It is planned that 200 people will participate. 30 countries, 50 Russian regions, 100 Tatarstan people have already confirmed their participation, ”said the chairman of the association.
The event is held to exchange best practices in rural development. “We need to prepare a platform where we will collect the best practices from around the world and see what is possible to apply in Tatarstan”.
The international congress will work in three directions. These are: “Youth entrepreneurship in the countryside”, “Culture, preservation of identity and tourism: rural areas as drivers of cultural growth” and “Education and leadership: unique opportunities of the countryside for the development of a successful personality”.
Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that the Agrarian Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan won a grant of the President of the Russian Federation in amount of 3.6 million rubles.
