The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Union of Russian Milk Producers and the Union of Tatarstan Milk Producers today signed a cooperation agreement in Kazan.

“The document defines the main directions of our cooperation in terms of implementing joint projects, exchanging information, supporting initiatives at the federal level, as well as our supporting initiatives of the ministry and the Tatmolsoyuz for implementing them within the republic and at the federal level,” said the general director of the National Union of Russian Milk Producers Artyom Belov.

At a meeting with the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, it was noted that Tatarstan is “Russia's number one milk producer”. “At the same time, we see that the potential that can be realized in the next five to seven years in terms of raw milk production, processing and export is quite large,” he said.

According to Artyom Belov, the quality of products that are produced in the republic "makes it popular in Russia as a whole and creates a perspective for export." “What about us, we are ready to support the manufacturers and processors of Tatarstan in terms of knowledge, experience, application of innovative technologies, development of program documents,” he added.

According to Marat Zyabbarov, one of the important directions for Tatarstan is the export of manufactured products, including dairy products. “Today, dozens of livestock breeding complexes are being built in the republic. I hope that thanks to them, milk production will increase further. Therefore, the issue of export is very important for us. It is necessary to support our milk producers and export our products outside the country. We have all opportunities to do this, ”emphasized the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
