In the Republic of Tatarstan, winter crops are sown on an area of 498.1 thousand ha, 371.3 thousand ha of which (74.5%) are winter wheat, 121.6 thousand ha (24.4%) is rye. Such data were cited by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov at a republican meeting in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan today.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference with all municipal areas. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin.
“Most farms carried out work on winter crops as technology requires, and we hope for their successful wintering,” commented Marat Zyabbarov.
Further, the Minister briefly reported on the progress of the harvesting.
So, sugar beet harvesting continues in the republic. “Today we have more than 2.3 million tons from the harvested areas (53.2 thousand ha) with an average yield of 443 kg / ha. This year, the yield per hectare is more than 110 centners. A number of districts have a yield of over 500 kg / ha, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the available stocks of raw materials at sugar beet processing plants.
“There are no problems at Buinsky and Zainsky factories. Together they have over 250 thousand tons, but there is a serious problem in the Nurlat zone. The plant has only a daily supply, it is extremely small, ”he said.
According to Marat Zyabbarov, this year the situation with sugar is very difficult. In Russia, sugar overproduction is estimated at 1 million tons, and prices respectively fell to critical levels - 19.5 thousand rubles / ton, compared with last year's about 30 thousand rubles / ton, or a decrease of 35%.
“Those who do not have their own processing, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia recommends reducing the cultivated area of sugar beets by 15% next year. In winter, we will also have to work to optimize our sown area, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.
Sunflower harvesting is also continuing in the republic: 60.2 thousand ha, or 45% of the area, is harvested, the average yield is 17.3 cts / ha (plus 0.1 cts / ha compared to 2018).
“The sunflower economy this year is also unattractive, prices fell to 15 thousand rubles / ton - with a minus of about 3 thousand rubles per ton compared to last year, ”the minister said.
In the fields of the republic, the chill was treated on an area of about 1.7 million hectares - this is 89% of the forecast, more than 750 thousand hectares (45%) of which was with a deepening of the arable layer. Every day, an average of 1.5 thousand units are involved, which process about 20 thousand hectares.
“More than half of the districts carried out the processing of over 90% of the planned areas,” said Marat Zyabbarov. - Aktanysh completely completed the processing of the chill, Baltasi, Zainsk, Vysokaya Gora, Tukay, Tetyushi, Saba regions are close to the completion. We set the task to complete the autumnal processing by October 20. It should be noted that these areas completed it and practically succeed after the harvesting of industrial crops. However, in a number of areas, the treatment of winter fallow is below the national average. ”
From October 28, a competition for setting up equipment for winter storage and organizing its repair is planned in Tatarstan. The commission will assess the quality of the setting of agricultural machines, compliance with labor protection requirements, order in machine and tractor parks and the organization of autumn-winter repairs.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan also warned: there is a high probability of the spread of the African swine fever virus in the republic.
“So, on October 23, the virus genome was detected in the Chistopol district in the products of Itera of the Kaluga region, which was imported by Kalitva-Torg,” said Marat Zyabbarov. - Thanks to the Mercury system and the operational work of the Veterinary Service and the Rosselkhoznadzor, we were able to timely track the movement of products and destroy them. I appeal to the heads of municipal districts, the heads of pig enterprises and to private farms: you must be extremely careful and strictly observe veterinary rules for keeping pigs. ”
