XXIV republican competitions in Koresh for prizes of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan started in Kazan
Today, the Grand Opening of the XXIV Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Tatar-Bashkir National Sports Wrestling Koresh for prizes of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan dedicated to the Day of the Worker of Agriculture and Processing Industry took place at the Ak Bars Martial Arts Palace. The opening ceremony was attended by a deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the sixth convocation, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov and First Deputy Minister of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan Khalil Shaykhutdinov.
Nail Zalakov addressed the audience and participants with a welcoming speech. “This tournament has been held 24 times, and is one of the most attractive in sports terms. Here, mainly athletes from the countryside take part, rural workers who invest a lot of work in the agriculture of the republic. I wish good luck to all athletes, great success in life and strong health, ”he said.
In total, more than 300 particioants from 45 teams from all over the republic arrived at the competition. Athletes will compete for victory in 7 weight categories - 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, 130 kg, over 130 kg.

the 25th of October
9: 00-14: 00 - preliminary fights in weight categories up to 60 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 80 kg
10:00 - grand opening of the competition;
10: 30-19: 00 - preliminary fights in the weight categories up to 90 kg, up to 100 kg, up to 130 kg and over 130 kg.
October 26th
09: 00-12: 00 - semifinal and final fights in all weight categories;
12: 00-13: 00 - closing of the competition, rewarding of winners and prize-winners.
