The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of small and medium enterprises in rural areas. Today, in every district there are people who have opened their own business with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Production of the Republic of Tatarstan, farmers and young entrepreneurs who are doing what they love in their native village. One of them is the Valiev family from the Tukaevsky district. In 2019, they received a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the amount of 200 thousand rubles by the republican program for the development of mini-farms.
At first they kept a cow only for themselves. In 2018, the old farm was renovated. To date, the farm contains 12 heads of cattle, 2 of which are dairy cows.
“In the next five years we plan to increase the number of livestock to 20. Before the onset of winter, we want to buy several thoroughbred heifers, now three more heifers are growing up,” says young businessman Ramil Valiev.
The farm has a large barn. In a wooden building, you can keep 6 goals without a leash and 9 goals on a leash. Grant funds payed the roof of the building and the floor. Behind the house there is a small pasture for livestock. Cows graze in the fresh air.
Spouse Albina milks cows with a milking machine. “On average, 30 liters of milk are released per day. From milk we make sour cream, cottage cheese and cream. We sell milk to individual entrepreneurs, and dairy products are mainly bought by the villagers, ”says Albina.
The farm has 25 hectares of land. Grain crops were seeded on 15 ha, and forage occupies other 10 ha. For the cultivation of the land, the MTZ tractor is used.
“Today, farming is receiving great attention from the leadership of the region and the state. I saw it myself. State support is an incentive to move forward, ”Ramil says.
Recall that 2019 in the Tukaevsky district was declared the year of support for private household plots. A commission has begun working in the area, it assists farmers in obtaining state subsidies. It is designed to help rural entrepreneurs fill the necessary documents, primarily to provide legal assistance. So, 14 families received state subsidies in the amount of 4 million 400 thousand rubles, and another 4 families expect to receive subsidies in the amount of 1 million 400 thousand rubles. 14 mini-farms were built.
