The authorities will continue to support the agro-industrial complex in Russia, so that agriculture in the country becomes high-tech, productive and competitive. "Much is yet to be done", Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the opening ceremony of the Golden Autumn exhibition.
“We will certainly support the agricultural sector further, especially since we still have a lot to do to make agriculture in our country high-tech, productive and competitive,” he said.
Medvedev stressed that the Russian agro-industrial complex "has come a long way in recent years." “But it’s important that people who serve this profession have kept faith in it and continue to practice it every day, working hard and being real professionals in their field,” he added.
