In Kukmorsky district, they launched the production of monofeed, which allows to significantly increase milk yield and save on the cost of feed

Kukmor Vostok LLC is the second in Russia and the first in the republic to launch a unique project for the production of monofeed. In the Monocorm cooperative created with his support, an innovative feed mill was launched, where local diets and purchased protein additives with premixes produce a “diet” for cattle, which almost doubles yields and weight gain. The initiative was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan with a grant of 5 million rubles.

“In the future, it is planned to build such workshops in the societies Ural, Unish, Asanbash-Agro. The feed produced in these workshops will be sold at affordable prices to private farmsteads containing three or more cows. Also, feed will be given to farm workers instead of hay, straw, grain. Monocorm will be delivered to the livestock owner directly to the farmyard, ”explained Ilham Ganiev, deputy head of the district agricultural department. “In order to get more products from cows, it requires protein-rich fodder energy.”

Monofeed got people really interested. Some of them were calculating profitability, others were worried if feed would harm cows if hay and straw were completely abandoned, and then there would be no need to drive cattle to pastures.

“Monocorm already contains particles of hay and straw, as well as all the necessary nutrients. It consists of 21 feed additives: corn, flattened grain, oilcake, premix, salt, hay, silage and more, so there is no need to worry about the health of cows, ”Ilham Ganiev said. - And to drive cattle to pasture or not, everyone decides for himself. It is clear that if you do that, a well-functioning feeding system will fail, and milk production will systematically change: in May-June due to green mass, milk production will be high, but after the succulent feed season passes, it will decrease. To avoid this, it is recommended the cattle to be fed mono-component.

Currently, fodder procurement workshops operate on the farms named after Vakhitov and Vostok. Monofeed is enriched with all trace elements necessary for cows. It contains haylage from perennial and annual herbs, corn silage, its grains, hay, straw, sunflower and rapeseed cake, premix, protein, salt, chalk and more. The Vostok farm sells it to farmsteads and peasant farms. Vakhitov workers also plan to follow their example if monofeed will be in demand among the population and it will be possible to establish a mechanism of the production system.

“In our farm, the mono-feed production workshop was launched about a month ago. Its capacity is 130 tons of feed per day, ”says Alexei Leontyev, head of the Vostok farm. - In order to ship mono-feed to the population, we purchased from Turkey a special packaging device worth more than two million rubles. With it, monocorm is packed in vacuum bags, it is stored in them for a long time and does not deteriorate. A daily ration per cow costs 240 rubles. ”

Monofeed produced in the workshop for experimental purposes was offered to farmsteads containing large quantities of cattle. The Ibragimovs from the village of Pochinok-Shemordan and Mikhailovs from the village of Selo-Chury became interested. Other personal subsidiary farms are also showing interest.

“I just got behind the wheel of a tractor to just go for a monocorm,” said Kamil Ibragimov from Shemordan. - For the time being, we have to drive for feed ourselves. In the future, when the work is fully adjusted, the farm plans to arrange delivery to the very gates. We give monocorm to the cows for almost a month. With the end of the pasture season, we plan to transfer the rest to mono-feed. We set the feed three times a day, one cow needs about 45 kilograms per day. Cows eat it willingly. With the transition to such feed, milk yield increased by 4-5 liters. If before a cow gave 16 kilograms of milk, now we get 20-21 liters. I'm afraid to jinx it, but the rest give even more.

Today, Yuri Mikhailov from Selo-Chura has 10 dairy cows, two of them are pregnant. “We set the feed for two cows, which we do not drive out to pastures, and the rest began to be given a little bit to raise the milk yield,” Yuri Nikolaevich said. - Recently, for some cows, the milk yield has dropped to 10 kilograms, but with the mono-feed, the milk yield has increased up to 24 kilograms. Somehow we calculated the cost of feed, which we do ourselves. It turned out that the cost of a daily portion of feed for 10 cows amounted to 3200 rubles, that is, 320 rubles per cow. And this does not include the costs of electricity, water and other expenses. And the monofeed for one cow comes out 240-250 rubles. "
