30 August 2019, Friday

In the Republic of Tatarstan, 65% of the area has been harvested - 930 thousand ha. The current yield is 30.4 c / ha. Tomorrow 3 million tons of grain of the new crop will already be in the bins. These figures were cited today at a meeting in the Government House by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal areas. Prime Minister of the republic Alexei Pesoshin took part in the work.

Marat Akhmetov said that the highest rates of harvesting are demonstrated by the Nurlat, Yutazinsky, Alkeevsky and Apastovsky districts. The leaders in terms of gross harvest are Aktanyshsky (119 thousand tons), Zainsky (117 thousand tons), Aznakaevsky (112 thousand tons) and Buinsky (104 thousand tons) districts.

According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, adverse weather conditions hinder the progress of harvesting, which in turn leads to loss of crop. So, the barley yield at the beginning of August was 36 c / ha, and today it has decreased to 27 c / ha. “So far, we have about 500 thousand hectares of grain remaining in the bud. Where there is no proper control over the quality of cleaning, there will be much more losses. The loss of each centner is minus one thousand rubles. I ask the leaders to pay attention to this, ”Marat Akhmetov addressed the meeting participants.

It was started to harvest sugar beets in the republic. Its area this year is over 64 thousand ha. Moisture, which slows down grain harvesting, is only beneficial for beets. Since August 22, Agrosila started digging: 1,2 thousand ha were harvested, productivity reaches 500 kg / ha.

Since August 25, the Zainsky Sugar Plant has been launched. 1,5 thousand tons of sweet products are lready produced. In the coming days, Buinsky and Nurlatsky factories will begin their work.

In parallel with harvesting, work for next year's crop, in particular, sowing of winter crops is underway. 541 thousand ha were allocated for winter crops. To date, 260 thousand hectares have been sown - 48% of the area.

Rustam Minnikhanov called on farmers to accelerate the pace of grain harvesting, making maximum use of favorable days for working in the fields.
