The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia continues to accept applications for the annual creative contest for the media, journalists and bloggers "My Land - Russia". Since its establishment in 2014, more than 15 thousand information projects from all regions of our country have passed through the competition aimed at popularizing the Russian village and drawing attention to its problems. Hundreds of them have been awarded with cash prizes.
The competition accepts journalistic projects on television, radio, in the print media and on the Internet, designed to form a positive image of the village, to disseminate best practices in the development of rural areas, to increase the importance of the labor of farmers, to preserve folk traditions and lifestyles, as well as to identify problematic issues of small settlements.
In addition, this year, for the first time, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites representatives of new media to participate: bloggers, owners of publics on social networks and YouTube channels. Also, for the second year in a row, photographers can also submit their works to the contest - the best sketches on the theme of rural life will be adorned by photo exhibitions that will be held in Moscow and regions.
Projects should consist of a series of works published over the past five years, which will allow participants to reveal their topic most fully in development, and the jury should evaluate the long-term contribution of the authors to the development of the village. The deadline for applications is August 31, 2019.
Prize pool:
for individual authors:
1st place - 120 thousand rubles, 2nd place - 85 thousand rubles, 3rd place - 60 thousand rubles.
for photojournalists:
1st place - 120 thousand rubles, 2nd place - 85 thousand rubles, 3rd place - 60 thousand rubles.
for bloggers, communities and groups on social networks, YouTube channels:
1st place - 120 thousand rubles, 2nd place - 85 thousand rubles, 3rd place - 60 thousand rubles.
for mass media (editors):
1st place - 200 thousand rubles, 2nd place - 150 thousand rubles, 3rd place - 100 thousand rubles.
The award ceremony will be held at the 21st All-Russian Agricultural Exhibition Golden Autumn 2019, which will be held in October.
To date, 12 participants have entered the competition from the Republic of Tatarstan. Reception of applications continues.
