The state program of agricultural development and regulation of agricultural markets was discussed in the Ministry

On July 23, Nikolay Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, held a round table on the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food Markets. Director of the Russian Grain Union Development Department Sergey Turin, member of the intergovernmental commission of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Lev Dubson, general director of AO Tatagroleasing, chairman of the Association of Farmers and Peasant Compounds of Tatarstan Kamiyar Baitemirov, agricultural producers of the republic and representatives of public organizations also took part in the meeting.

Opening the event, Nikolay Titov informed about the start of the harvesting campaign in Tatarstan. “Domestic demand for grain in the republic is 3.3 million tons. The estimated harvest of grain and leguminous crops this year is expected to be around 4 million tons. The annual task of agricultural producers is to grow a good harvest and sell it at good prices. The work of the Russian Grain Union is aimed at protecting the interests of grain producers, ”the first deputy minister noted.

Sergei Turin thanked for support the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, spoke about the results of the work of the Union and presented the head of the representative office of the Russian Grain Union in the Republic of Tatarstan, Vadim Bespalov. He, in turn, informed the participants of the round table about the existing problems of the grain market, goals, objectives and ways to solve them, focusing on the key activities of the regional representative office of the Russian Grain Union.

Kamiyar Baitemirov also expressed the interest of the Association of Farmers in cooperation with the Russian Grain Union for the most complete protection of the interests of farmers and small agricultural producers. He also reported that the farmers of Tatarstan in recent years have reached the volume of the grain yield of 1 million tons, about 500 thousand tons of which are commodity.

At the end of the round table, the participants expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation and discussed the issue of signing the Agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and the Russian Grain Union.
