Today, as part of the “Field Day in Tatarstan - 2019” exhibition, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan presented certificates to farmers and cooperatives that won competitions in federal programs for family livestock farms, for beginning farmers and agricultural cooperatives.
“Amazingly courageous and responsible people have gathered here,” the First Deputy Minister stressed, speaking about grantees. “Everyone could take part in the competitive selection, but they were not afraid to take responsibility and managed to convince the competition commission of the success and prospects for the republic of their projects.” Nikolay Titov sincerely wished the experienced and novice farmers success in their chosen path.
It should be noted that in terms of federal programs, grantees must create additional jobs in the farms. A total of about 500 permanent jobs should be created.
Primary beneficiaries will implement livestock projects in meat and dairy cattle breeding, horse breeding, sheep breeding and poultry farming, as well as fruit and berry growing, potato growing, vegetable growing in open and closed ground, production of grain, grain legumes and forage crops.
There are also grantees among those who moved from big cities, such as Moscow and Kazan, to a village, and there are people of various professions, for example, lawyers and economists who found their vocation in agriculture. And the head of the peasant farm, Aigul Khanova, brought a bird, which she grows,to the Field Day. Broiler ducks, characterized by large size, particularly surprised visitors of the exhibition.
