The agrarian youth association was included in the list of winners of the All-Russian competition of youth projects of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
AMO RT received grant support in the amount of 600,000 rubles for the implementation of the project “School of Independence: an intensive course of financial literacy development for young families living in rural areas”.
The project team, together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, other partners, relevant ministries and departments, plans to organize an educational program aimed at improving the financial literacy of young families living in rural areas of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In order to inform young families about the possibility of self-realization in the countryside, it is planned to develop a consolidated newsletter on state support measures and distribute among project participants.
According to the results of testing, which is planned to be held among the project participants, the team develops a business game, reflecting the following questions:
- understanding how to resolve disputes relating to financial transactions;
- obtaining information about their own protection when interacting with financial organizations;
- the ability to identify fraudulent financial schemes;
- knowledge of ways to plan pension savings, government payments;
- obtaining information on measures of state support in rural areas.
It is planned to hold 7 on-site meetings with young families from 43 municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to the results of these meetings, methodological recommendations will be formed on the implementation of youth activities aimed at improving the financial literacy of the young population.
The project implementation is planned for August of this year.
