Tatarstan confidently leads among regions of Russia in terms of milk sales

According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, on May 14, the maximum sales volumes of milk per day were reached in the Republic of Tatarstan, it was 3.7 thousand tons. The Krasnodar Territory is on the second place - 2.7 thousand tons, and the Voronezh Region takes the third place - 2.2 thousand tons.

The top 10 regions in terms of daily milk sales also include Novosibirsk (1.9 thousand tons), Kirov (1.8 thousand tons), Sverdlovsk (1.7 thousand tons), Leningradskaya (1.6 thousand tons ), Belgorod (1.6 thousand tons), Moscow (1.5 thousand tons), Nizhny Novgorod (1.5 thousand tons) and Vologda (1.3 thousand tons) regions, the Republic of Udmurtia (1.9 thousand . tons) and Bashkortostan (1,5 thousand tons).

The average milk yield per cow per day in agricultural organizations was 17.72 kg, which is 0.94 kg more than a year earlier on the relevant date.

“In the republic, as of June 17, gross daily milk yield in agricultural organizations is 3,961.4 tons, which is 133.5 tons or 103.6% more than the same date last year,” said the head of the department for the development of livestock industries of the Ministry of Siren Nigmatzyanov.

It should be noted that dairy cattle breeding is one of the priorities of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan and, thanks to the implementation by the Ministry of measures to support the production and sale of milk in the republic, positive results are noted.
