Marat Akhmetov estimated the pace of sowing in Muslyumovsky, Sarmanovsky and Zainsky districts of Tatarstan

Today, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, Marat Akhmetov began to visit the fields of the republic in order to familiarize himself with the course of the spring field work. He visited Muslumovsky, Sarmanovsky and Zainsky districts.

After inspecting the fields, Marat Akhmetov met with the head of each of the districts, heads of farms, farmers and heads of rural settlements, spoke about the implementation of state programs to support agricultural producers and answered questions from managers and specialists of agricultural organizations.

“Muslyumovsky, Sarmanovsky and Zainsky districts were among the first to enter the fields of the republic this year,” said Marat Akhmetov. He also drew attention to the high farming culture in these areas, which allowed to preserve winter crops in a satisfactory condition even in such unfavorable conditions of this year. Large areas of Tatarstan will require reseeding, which means investing additional forces and means.

Thus, in the Muslyumovsky district, winter crops were sown on 11.9 thousand hectares, the death of winter crops was 13% of sowing, in the Sarmanovsky district it was 3% of 17.9 thousand hectares and 7% of 17.5 thousand hectares in Zainsky district.

In the Muslyumovsky district, spring planting is in full swing. It is planned to cover 51.3 thousand hectares and today it is performed by 27.1%. Daily seeding potential - 3.4 thousand hectares. The main crops in the area this year will be barley, wheat and sunflower. At the end, fertilizing with fertilizers, planned for an area of 20 thousand hectares, was completed by 93%.

Spring sowing has also been completed by 44.4% in the Sarmanovsky district. Daily seeding potential - 7.3 thousand ha. In total, it is planned to sow 51.6 thousand ha. This is mainly barley, wheat and sugar beets. Top dressing, planned on an area of 29.2 thousand hectares, was completed by 81.8%.

The highest percentage of planting (56.6%) of the three districts is in Zainsk. Here spring crops will occupy an area of 43.3 thousand hectares. However, the cold weather and night frosts suspended while planting in the area. But feeding, planned on an area of 27 thousand hectares, has been fully completed.

Marat Akhmetov positively assessed the organization of spring field work in the districts and drew attention to the potential of the districts in the field of dairy farming, which is currently not fully implemented. “From year to year the culture of farming is increasing,” the minister noted. - I’m sure that by continuing to introduce innovative technologies, you will achieve more.
