Students of rural schools can take part in the All-Russian competition "AgroNTI"

On March 26, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Agrarian University and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan held a press conference dedicated to the All-Russian competition for students of rural schools "AgroNTI - 2019".

“There are many talented and inventive guys in the countryside. It was precisely to their support that the competition was directed, ”noted Head of the Department of Science, Education and Innovative Technologies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Khamidullin.

We remind that students of rural schools and small cities (with a population of no more than 50 thousand people) in grades 5-11 can take part in the competition. The competition is held in three age categories and four areas:

Agrocopters (distributed systems of unmanned aerial vehicles, automatic control systems);

Agrobots (electronic automated control systems agricultural machinery);

Agrocosmos (processing and use of satellite imagery in agriculture);

Agrometeo (weather forecasting, weather archive creation, analytics).

But to participate in the competition it is not required to submit a finished invention. Simply register at kids.agronti.ru by filling out the questionnaire before April 1. Moreover, each participant can register in all four directions. As part of the absentee phase from April 1 to April 25, participants will be tested and will answer questions selected according to the age group.

The guys who successfully passed the correspondence stage will pass to the full-time regional stage, which will be held in Kazan at the Agrarian University from 13 to 14 May. There, schoolchildren will be offered team situational tasks and they will be able to assemble their own agrocopters, robots, and meteorological equipment on their own.

The final stage will be held in two cities: Belgorod and Almetyevsk from August 30 to September 6. The winners of the final stage will have the opportunity to take part in a specialized site in the framework of the Russian agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn 2019” and will receive valuable prizes.

“Kazan State Agrarian University has been chosen as one of 9 sites in Russia for conducting regional stages. Today, more than 1000 applications have been received. Almetyevsky, Nizhnekamsk, Aktanyshsky and Drozhzhanovsky districts are especially active, ”said the vice-rector of the Agrarian University for scientific and international activities, candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor Rustam Nizamov.

Head of the Department of Additional Education for Children of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Zhanetta Sorkina also spoke about other competitions and programs for students of rural schools.
