Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of animal husbandry for 2 months

On March 12, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the work of the livestock industry for 2 months of 2019. The event was chaired by Deputy Minister Nazip Hazipov.

The meeting was attended by consultants on animal husbandry, heads of breeding services of agricultural and food departments in municipal districts, specialists from the Main State Agricultural Management of Breeding Animal Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

At the beginning of the meeting, Pavel Maslov, commercial director of the feed mill factory OOO KAMP, made a presentation on the topic “Production and use of protein concentrates in animal husbandry”. It was about the technology of production and use of protein feed additives: EPA, AKD and AVMK; protected protein and protein concentrate in animal husbandry. The company operates in the Republic of Tatarstan and provides services in support of feeding animals.

Further, Nazip Khazipov presented the results of animal husbandry for two months of the current year, focusing on the issues of milk and meat production, preservation of calves and reproduction, as well as the development of budgetary resources, prevention of mastitis and diseases of cow limbs.

Today, the number of cattle in the republic is 723.8 thousand heads, including 241.2 thousand cows. 205.1 thousand tons of milk had been produced (103% of last year's level) 64.1 thousand tons of cattle and poultry were produced (grown) (102% by 2018), including cattle - 15.9 thousand tons (100%), pigs 14.1 (104%), poultry 33.8 (101%), calf litter production amounted to 53.6 thousand heads.

According to the deputy minister, the cattle population since the beginning of the year has increased in Baltasinsky, Mamadyshsky, Kukmorsky, Alkeevsky, Buinsky, Chistopolsky, Drozhzhanovsky districts.

The largest increase in milk production is observed In Almetyevsk, Alkeevsk, Nizhnekamsk, Tukayevsk, Nurlat, Aktanysh, Sabinsky, Baltasinsky, Tetyushsky, Kamsko-Ustyinsky districts.

Further he told about the cattle meat production. The best in this direction are Mamadyshsky, Tukayevsky, Sabinsky, Aktanyshsky, Atninsky, Sarmanovsky, Kukmor districts. “For the cultivation of high-yielding heifers it is necessary to reach 850-900 gr. daily gain ”, - said the Deputy Minister.

At the end of the meeting, Nazip Khazipov focused on meeting participants to stimulate milk production, increase animal productivity and urged USHiP specialists in municipal districts to study in detail the conditions for granting subsidies and familiarize them with the heads of agricultural producers of the republic, as well as to prevent a decrease in livestock.
