Marat Akhmetov: each region has its strengths, and in Muslyumovsky it is poultry farming

On February 20, the XXXII session of the Council of the Muslyumovsky municipal district of the third convocation took place. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, General Director of the Network Company Society Ilshat Fardiyev, General Director of the Chelny Bread Society, Rafael Yunusov, as well as deputies of the district council and the district public took part in it.

The head of the region Ramil Mullin spoke about the results of the socio-economic development of the Muslyumovsky municipal district in 2018 and the tasks for 2019.

Marat Akhmetov gave a positive assessment of the work of the farmers of the region for 2018.

“In the ranking on the yield, the district takes the 15th place, but there are opportunities of yields’ increasing”. He emphasized the need of work in this direction.

Speaking about yields increasing, Marat Akhmetov also drew attention to the need for the accumulation of mineral fertilizers for the 2019 harvest. By today, only 22.3 kg ay / ha has been accumulated in the Muslyumovsky district.

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan noted the good results of the region’s work on mechanization and poultry farming.

“Each region has its own characteristics and strengths. For Muslumovsky district the strength is poultry farming”, said Marat Akhmetov.

Indeed, poultry meat production is well developed in the region, the volumes of which are increasing annually. Not only large farms, but also family farms and private farms are engaged in raising birds in the area.

At the end of the event, the Minister thanked the Muslyum workers for their productive work and presented state awards to especially distinguished specialists.
