Tatarstan veterinary was awarded the 2nd prize in “Worldskills” agricultural championship

A branch-wise championship in the sphere of agriculture on Worldskills standards (“Veterinary” competence) took place in the FSBEI HE “Stavropol State Agrarian University”. Young specialists of branch enterprises, who are less than 28 years old, from Moscow, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Novgorod, Tambov, Kaliningrad, Saratov Regions and Stavropol Territory participated in the competition.

Contestants fulfilled such tasks as physical examination of cattle, microbiological diagnostics, surgery. Over 30 experts judged the skills of young specialists.

Following the results of the competition, a Tatarstan veterinary – a specialists of ZAO “Biryuli” of Vysokaya Gora municipal district Renat Pirogov – was awarded the 2nd prize.

It is worth mentioning that the organizing parties of the branch-wise championship in the sphere of agriculture are the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Alliance of “Worldskills Russia” Development Agency of Professional Associations and Personnel”. Prior, competition on the competence of “Agronomy” was carried out. The next stage of the championship – “Exploitation of agricultural machinery” – takes place in Ufa on November 15-19, 2017, in Bashkiria State Agrarian University.
