Over 2 million of sugar beetroot have been harvested in Tatarstan

As of October 11, 2017, over 2 million tons of sugar beetroot have been harvested from 51,800 ha of fields (70% 0f the plan) in Tatarstan. The average crop yield is 397 dt/ha.

The biggest gross yield of sugar beetroot is in Sarmanovo municipal district (372,600 tons). In Zainsk municipal district 361,200 tons of sugar beetroot have been harvested, in Buinsk – 210,300 tons, Muslyumovo – 146,200 tons, Nurlat – 144,600 tons. The best crop yield is in Aktanysh municipal district (473 dt/ha). In Tetyushi municipal district the crop yield is 470 dt/ha, in Muslyumovo – 443, Cheremshan – 435 dt/ha.

Farmers of Bugulma municipal district have been finished harvesting of sugar beetroot. Over 85% of fields with sugar beetroot have been cleared in Nizhnekamsk (86%), Kaibitsy (89%), Leninogorsk (90%) and Apastovo (93%) municipal districts.

Among large agricultural enterprises producing sugar beetroots there are OOO Agro-firm “Zai” in Zainsk municipal district, which sowed 2,341 ha of fields with sugar beetroot (as of today, 117,000 tons of sugar beetroot have been harvested at the average crop yield of 500 dt/ha), OOO “Agro-firm “Zainskiy sakhar” in Zainsk municipal district (3,025 ha), the gross yield is 116,000 tons, the average crop yield is 495 dt/ha), OOO “Agro-firm “Namus” in Muslyumovo municipal district (5,135 ha, 146,200 tons, 443 dt/ha), OOO “Sviyaga” in Apastovo municipal district (3,000 ha, 112,000 tons, 400 dt/ha), ))) “Agro-firm “Arnyak” in Aktanysh municipal district (1,400 ha, 26,000 tons, 473 dt/ha).

As of today, 973,700 tons of sugar beetroot have been preserved by Tatarstan sugar plants, 649,300 tons have been processed, 95,800 tons of sugar have been produced.
