The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov reported on the results of the work of agricultural units in the field of animal husbandry at a meeting in the Government House of Tatarstan.

 On March 22, the Department of Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Alkeevsky district together with the Kazan State Agrarian University held a meeting on organizing joint work on vocational guidance and preparing schools for entering the Kazan State Agrarian University.

In Aktanysh technological college with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan has began a training to improve skills. Heads and specialists of agricultural enterprises of the region are trained by a specialized program for the improvement of breeding in the livestock industry.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that it continues accepting applications for the republican youth forum "Our Tatarstan". Anyone can register their project at one of 9 sites, acquire new experience and knowledge, get expert evaluation and support from investors, find like-minded people and build the career.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reports that the National Union of Agricultural Insurers (NUAI) has approved two types of unified standard insurance rules - for crops and perennial plantations, and farm animals. Also, in addition to the insurance rules, unified methods of calculating tariffs for these types of insurance have been approved.

In the period from April 24 to April 26, 2019 the First All-Russian Breeders' Congress will be held in Moscow.

On March 20 at the extended meeting of the Presidium of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union, chaired by Farida Garifullina, the results of the activities of the Republican organization of the Trade Union for 2018 were summed up. The meeting was attended by the chairmen of district, large primary trade union organizations and members of the control and auditing commission of the republican organization of the trade union.
 

On March 20, Nikolay Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, met with a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting took place in the Palace of farmers. From the Uzbek side, the main researcher of JSC Paxtasanoat ilmiy markazi, a representative of the Tatar diaspora in Uzbekistan, Candidate of Technical Sciences Ravil Yunusov and deputy chairman of the board of JSC Uzpakhtasanoat Azamat Soltanov took part in the event.

The 19th of March the Career Day was held at the Veterinary Academy. The event was organized by the university administration together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan specifically for future graduates: 4th and 5th year students. During the “Career Day”, students met with their potential employers - agricultural producers the republic and other regions.
