Republican Trade Union Committee summed up the year
On March 20 at the extended meeting of the Presidium of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union, chaired by Farida Garifullina, the results of the activities of the Republican organization of the Trade Union for 2018 were summed up. The meeting was attended by the chairmen of district, large primary trade union organizations and members of the control and auditing commission of the republican organization of the trade union.
The reports of the specialists of the Republican Trade Union Committee provide an in-depth analysis of the statistical reporting on union membership, the implementation of the trade union budget for 2018, and the results of the collective agreement campaign. It was noted that, despite the financial difficulties in enterprises, social guarantees during 2018 were not reduced. At the conclusion of collective agreements, trade union committees sought substantial benefits and guarantees for employees, including the provision of additional paid vacations, funding for the rehabilitation of workers and their families, co-payment for mentoring, additional cash payments at birth to parents who are on parental leave, and children's stay in health camps, one-time payments for retirement, as well as for recruitment. Examples of positive work were such companies as LLC TK Maysky, LLC Chelny Broiler, OJSC Zelenodolsk Milk Processing Plant, AO Essen Production AG, AO GPP Elita, OJSC Buinsky sugar ”, JSC“ Zainsky sugar ”.
The meeting also held a detailed discussion of the wages of industry workers. The growth rate of the average monthly salary at agricultural enterprises was 18.5%, despite some success, at agricultural enterprises there is still a big gap in the level of wages from the national average one (66% in 2018). At the enterprises of the food industry, the level of the average monthly salary in relative terms is 85.1% of the national average one.
The head of the labor protection sector of the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs of the Republic of Tatarstan Aidar Salakhov informed the participants about the state of labor protection in the organizations of the agro-industrial complex of the republic. In 2018, there were 11 cases of industrial injuries with severe outcomes, two of them were fatal outcomes, the trend is decreasing. Mechanisers and livestock breeders still have a high level of professional risk. The main causes of accidents were a violation of the technology of work and production discipline, as well as traffic rules. Those present at the meeting noted that trade union bodies control the state of labor protection at enterprises by collective agreements. In 2018, organizations with trade union suborganizations recorded only one case of severe injury.
Farida Garifullina focused the meeting participants on the need to further improve social partnership, increase demanding of employers to improve working conditions, preserve the health and lives of workers, increase wages at agricultural enterprises.
