On September 11, a seminar-meeting on the cultivation of corn and sunflower was held on corn fields near the village of Chuvash Brod, Alkeevsky District. The workshop was actively attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, the head of the Alkeevsky District Alexander Nikoshin and the academician of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences Vladimir Sotchenko.

Since September 14, traditional fall agricultural fairs will start in Tatarstan. This year, 19 sites will be involved in the sale of agricultural products. This was announced at a press conference in the Tatar-inform news agency by the head of the food market development department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RT Dmitry Yashin. He emphasized that this project has social significance both for citizens and agricultural producers, who can sell their products without intermediaries, and also not pay for a trading place, which significantly reduces the cost of production.

Fall is on its way. This is the time when farmers are summing up the results of the year in the fields.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the livestock industry for 8 months of 2019. The meeting was held by Nazip Khazipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the republic, grain crops are threshed from 1 million 345.9 thousand ha, which is 95% of all harvested areas. The gross grain harvest exceeded 4 million tons.

On Saturday, September 14, from 6 a.m in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, in the village of Oktyabrsky Zelenodolsky district (trade and fair complex "New Tura"), traditional fairs will begin to sell agricultural products and food for everyday consumption. Agricultural fairs are traditionally appreciated by citizens, especially the older generation, they are in good demand and are of great social importance.
 

The cooperation of the Agrarian Youth Association and the Union of Bavarian Russian-speaking youth makes it possible for young people from Tatarstan and Germany to exchange experiences. From September 1 to September 7, representatives of the Bavarian Union of Rural Youth came to exchange experience in agriculture. 

Every year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan is actively involved in the action, which contributes to the strengthening of interethnic and interfaith harmony, the prevention of terrorism and extremism, and the prevention of conflicts on social, ethnic and religious spheres .

From September 11 to 12, in the Baltasinsky district of Tatarstan, the specialists of the Center of Competences will hold the meetings for the development of agricultural cooperation with the residents of the district, conducting private subsidiary plots.

In Tatarstan, in 2016–2018, 26 modern dairy complexes for 28 thousand dairy herds were put into operation, the investment amounted to about 9 billion rubles. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov announced this at a meeting in the Government House on September 6.
