On April 9-10 2015 the 8th session of Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation takes place in Kazan. The Russian party of the Commission is headed by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Fedorov, from Tatarstan the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov joins the Commission, the Hungarian party is presented by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Sijyarto.
Yesterday, on April 6, the session devoted to the issues of agricultural insurance with the state support was held in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov.

According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, by April 1 the gross milk production has made up 3,197 tons per day, which is by 138.7 tons (5%) more that it was last year.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan is taking measures to organize and develop organic production on the territory of the republic. This kind of agricultural production differs from the traditional one by excluding the usage of mineral fertilizers, synthetic herbicides, fungicides, insecticides end other pesticides, synthetic growth-regulating chemicals, and also by using the methods of land cultivation which increase the stability of soil content and biodiversity of soils.

According to the of order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan dated by March 25 2015, the amendments were made to the earlier adopted order of the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan dated by January 26 2015 № 10/2-пр “Organization of fairs for selling of agricultural products and food commodities since January 2015”.
