All-Russia conference on agricultural cooperation takes place in Kazan

On December 4 and 5 2014, All-Russia research-to-practice conference “Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives: Experience, Problems, Solutions” will take place in Kazan, according to the information from “Tatar-Inform” with reference to the Association of farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives of the Republic of Tatarstan

The main organizing party is the Russian Association of farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives. Other participants of the conference are the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Association of farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives of Tatarstan.

The place for the conference is chosen to be Tatarstan because in the republic agricultural cooperation is developing successfully, which facilitates production and processing of agricultural products.

On Decemder 4, the participants of the conference will visit Pestretsy where they will have an opportunity to see milk processing in “Vatan” farm household. That day it is also planned to visit agricultural consumer cooperative “Indeyka” in Zelenodolsk district, which is engaged in poultry production and processing.

On December 5, the participants of the conference will discuss further prospects for the development of agricultural consumer cooperatives..
