In Tatarstan, the first million tons of grain of a new crop was threshed. Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited the Alekseevsky, Cheremshansky and Aksubaevsky districts in order to get acquainted with the harvesting process.

On August 15, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, got acquainted with the activities of the meat processing complex Kausar in the Laishevsky District.

As soon as after a long inclement weather the soil began to dry up, the collective farm of the Aksubaevsky region brought their combines to the fields. In this farm, crops occupy 2900 hectares. Including: 200 hectares of winter rye, wheat, vetch, 400 hectares of barley, 600 ha of spring wheat and 1300 ha of oats.

In Chistopol district, it has already become a tradition that combine harvesters who fulfill the conditions for grinding a certain amount of grain per day are given cash bonuses (certificates). Combiners of the Chistopol region will be able to get a certificate for every day when they meet the bonus conditions for harvesting grain and leguminous crops.

In Tatarstan from August 6 to 19, zone seminars and meetings are held to increase the business activity of the rural population. The workshops are attended by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, heads of municipalities, rural settlements, cooperatives, farmers and private household owners.

Changeable weather this year was a serious test for the farmers of Tatarstan. In the midst of harvest, heavy rains began. As soon as it clears up, the equipment immediately enters the fields.
