Today, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov met with a delegation from Kenya headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kenya to the Russian Federation Benson Henry Ouma Ogutu. The negotiations were also attended by Deputy Head of the Mugodo Mission Joshua Mwangi, Minister Plenipotentiary and Adviser to the Embassy of Amisi Maurice Okoch Okomo.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food held a meeting on the results of the first half of 2021 on the topic of the development of livestock industries. It was attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, Deputy Head of the Main State Agricultural Department of Breeding in Animal Husbandry Gelyus Bayazitov, Deputy Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Gabdulkhak Motygullin.

Farmers of Tatarstan have collected the first million tons of grain. To date, the average yield in the republic is 16.7 c / ha. The area of 676194 hectares was threshed. 1129,168 tons of grain have been harvested.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov spoke at the plenary session of the VII Machine-Building Cluster Forum. The topic is relevant – forage harvesting. This issue is under special control of the Ministry. According to operational data, 352.9 thousand tons of hay, 1561.1 tons of haylage, 196 tons of silage have been harvested in the Republic of Tatarstan.
