Harvesting of sugar beetroot has been started in Sarmanovo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. This year the crop occupies 12,000 ha of fields.
“Harvesting has been started in all agricultural firms. The average crop yield is 350-360 dt/ha now”, - said Albert Sharipov, Chief at the local directorate for agriculture.
