Peculiarities of the forthcoming harvesting campaign were discussed in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov, Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, Talgat Tagirzyanov, chiefs of local directorates for agriculture, specialists of the ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan and AIC organizations took part in the session.

“Everywhere harvesting will start at the beginning of August, - said Nikolai Titov. – We guess that it will take a lot of time this year. So we should be ready to work 24 hours a day”.

1st Deputy Minister invited chiefs of local directorates for agriculture to control development of the system of labour incentives for combine operators. “We should not expect to receive dry grain, - he emphasized. – We should estimate the amount of grain which will have to be dried”.

Ildus Gabdrakhmanov stated that owing to agro-technical activities, which had been already carried out, there was a good yield of agricultural crops. However, Laishevo, Agryz and Yutazy municipal districts have poor records in this sphere.

Talgat Tagirzyanov informed the participants of the session about the state of grain harvesters of the republic. “Inspect, please, productivity of machinery and find out problems and the ways to solve them”, - he recommended.

The issues of ripening of maize and sunflower, grain transportation, etc. were also discussed at the session.
