Videoconferencing session with participation of state municipal authorities in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan

A videoconferencing session chaired by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov took place in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan today. The issues of development of agricultural cooperatives and discharge of obligations by grant recipients on the programs on support for farmers in previous years were discussed at the session.

Representatives of executive committees of municipal districts, local agricultural directorates and heads of rural settlements participated in the session.

Rishat Khabipov emphasized that farmers should fulfill the conditions which were outlined at grant receiving, including increasing cattle population and creation of work places. “Both grant recipients and heads of local directorates for agriculture and food bear responsibility”, - noted Deputy Minister.

Rishat Khabipov reminded that farmers were to have presented a report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan by August 1, 2017. In the nearest future check-over of grant recipients is planned to be carried out by specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Auditing Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Vice Rector for Research at Kazan Cooperative Institute Yuliya Valeeva made a report on development of agricultural cooperation.
