OOO “Cheremshan-Agro” is engaged in crop selection

114 rye varieties are sown on seed-trial ground of OOO “Cheremshan-Agro”. Specialists of a German company are working here.

“We are testing rye varieties which are cultivated almost all over the world, - said Director at the company Ilshat Guzaerov. – Owing to the fact that the company is included into “Elite Tatarstan seeds” Association, we have agreements and responsibilities. We work in close cooperation. Herbicide treatment has been carried out recently.

39 varieties of barley, oat and wheat are being tested on one more seed-trial ground plot of OOO “Cheremshan-Agro”. Special attention is paid to the crop yield and the crop adaptivity to climatic conditions of the republic.

The company has been cooperating with “Elite Tatarstan seeds” Association for about 2 years. Nevertheless, it has profound experience in selective work, testing of new crop varieties and their introduction into production. “This spring we sold top quality seeds amounted to over 2.5 million rubles”, - said Ilshat Guzaerov.
