Meeting with Israel delegation took place in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today a meeting with the delegation from Israel took place in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The following officials participated in it: Deputy Animal Breeding Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Khazipv, Head at the “Chief State Agricultural Directorate for Pedigree Animal Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan” Rishat Zaripov, specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as representatives of the Israeli party: specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Development, such as Director of International Trade Gilyad Eliraz and Head at the Animal Breeding and Experience Introduction Department Gabi Adin, Head at the Israeli Commission on dairy products Mikhal Kraus, directors of Israeli companies.

Current state of agriculture and expansion of prospective lines of cooperation between Tatarstan and Israel were discussed at the meeting. Gilyad Eliraz said that Israel was going to implement a project on construction of dairy complexes in the Russian Federation and training of specialists concerning technologies of livestock keeping and feeding. In September 2017 a meeting is planned to be carried out in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, following the results of which the schemes to finance the project will be agreed upon.

In conclusion, there was discussion and opinion exchange concerning the opportunities to build anima breeding venues and training of specialists in Tatarstan.
